Paul Wesley Barrett, CFNP is board certified nurse practitioner at Columbus Urology Group. "Wesley", a Mississippi native, has been on staff at Columbus Urology Group since 1999. He is dual board certified in Family Practice and Urology. He is also board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner through the American Nurses Association. He received his Masters Degree from MUW in 1997 . His background is in critical care and emergency nursing.
Wesley's primary focus is general urology which encompasses the pediatric patient to the aging adult. He performs a variety of diagnostic procedures in the clinic with a focus in bladder diagnostics.
Wesley has a unique combination of strong nursing skills and strives to provide the best health care possible. He believes in building long lasting and trusting relationships with his patients. He conducts a comprehensive evaluation of every patient by taking time to listen and understand their particular needs. Wesley's passion is to educate every patient regarding their urological condition. His goal is for every patient to understand and feel empowered to participate in their health care needs. He believes this allows the patient to help take ownership in their health care.
